Most of the places I travel (meaning 3rd world countries) only has imported muesli, which means it will cost you around £7 for a small bag and will last approximately up to one week. Get some fruits and milk on top, and you’re looking at luxury priced hotel breakfast. Not ideal if you’re trying to budget. Here is the solution I came up with. (more…)

Travelling can do all sorts of crazy things to your body. Different weather, water, routine, food, add long days in the sun, too much booze and you’re in a risk of getting unwell.

I’ve always been fascinated by elephants but the first time I encountered an elephant in a non zoo environment back in 2013, when I rode around and washed them in Chang Mai, left me with beautiful pictures, however oddly cold feelings. It was my first big trip and everything around felt so exciting, including elephant rides. But if I had to choose now, I wouldn’t do it. (more…)

Four years later and I fell in love with Bali again.
Only this time I return as a traveller and ready to spend all the time in the world to explore this beautiful island.
We came here from Java planning to stay for three weeks only but it turned into more like two months bali-ing around. From beaches to temples and onto caves later followed by mountains, here is my little sum up of some best discovered gems of Bali. If Jakarta is Java’s financial and industrial powerhouse, Yogyakarta is its soul, keeping the spirit in perfect balance and harmony. Located around 7hours train ride from Jakarta, Jogja happens to be called most livable and loveable city in Indonesia. Here, you’ll find most important archeological sites, Prambanan and Borobudur. But there is so much to see in the city that it’s worth planning a few extra days to explore. (more…)
