The only place I’ve stopped in Costa Rica was Puerto Viejo. I know, it is a beautiful country with a huge percentage of worlds fauna but not today, not in this trip. So while in Puerto Viejo, I was advised to visit at least one national park, in the end, that’s what Costa Rica is mostly famous for. Cahuita was the closest option to do so, also rumoured to house many sloths, that are my main interest on this little visit. (more…)

So I have my sister over. It’s like being a child again. She comes to visit, brings chocolate and new clothes over, and gives me an excuse to splash a little bit on ice cream and cheesecakes! Oh yes, and go shopping.
Apart from that, we went to San Blas. I know it’s not Maldives but as close as it can get on my route around Caribbean. (more…)

Looking back to March 2014, I was happily settled onto Cambodian land, soaking feet in Gulf of Thailand. And as many remember, that’s the place where my last 20 something approached me. Exactly one year later, March 21st 2015 runs into me on the opposite side of the world- Central America, to be more precise, Nicaragua, even more precise- Little Corn Island. (more…)

I have dived once before, a few years ago in a pool in London. It didn’t go well; too cold and too scary. And after that dive I gave up- I’m not going to fall into passionate divers category. But then, after two years, I’ve reached Utila, and indeed the storyline changed.
I went to snorkel into beautiful clear waters and it got me there. I signed up for an open water diving course. After reading numerous of blogs I chose to dive with Parrots. Instructor Ron was so amazing that after my course I did advanced open water, which allows you to dive much deeper. (more…)
